Regret not buying this sooner-love it!Mar 23, 2008 After using an inexpensive Pilates JP Performer for about 6 years, I gave in and purchased this one. I wish I had bought it sooner! I have used professional studio reformers and I have to say that their smooth gliding motion is comparable to the XP555. The only difference is the resistance cords; the XP555 uses cords and the studio reformer has springs.I would prefer springs, but not at the greatly added expense. My husband set it up and didn't complain that it was too difficult to assemble or was missing parts. Since this reformer is not portable, make sure you have room for it. It takes up a lot of space.
I love the rebounder and use it on the days I don't do floor/step aerobics. My only complaint is the footbar is difficult to take on and off because of the little button pins you have to press down at the same time. In terms of adjusting the straps, my husband did it for me and it didn't seem difficult.
After shopping around, I got the best price on Amazon because of the free S&H and no tax. If you are on the fence about this one, buy it now, as it has been discontinued. Great value!
Love to workoutFeb 16, 2008 AeroPilates Pro XP555, A real pleasure to use, work out for 15 minutes or 2 hours. And feel great afterwards.

Great MachineDec 18, 2007 The 555 reformer is everything that I was hoping for. It is good looking and sturdy. My husband said it was a little difficult to put together because some of the screws were difficult but he dealt with it. It is quite heavy but that is makes it good and sturdy once set up. The shoulder rests are a little higher than needed but not a problem and the platform stop is not quite right for me but I just angle the foot bar closer to me and the problem is solved. I love the rebounder! The best part about the machine is I don't feel like I'm "working" but I get a great workout. It is so much fun.

Wife Loves It!Oct 19, 2007 It's sturdy, well-built, works well (smooth) and the elevation (off the floor) is great. Plenty of available resistance. In comparing reformers, this had good reviews and the price was right. It seems that we made a good purchase.

Worth Every PennySep 10, 2007 Excellent machine. Great Quality. Good looking, which is nice since it does not fold up for storage. Although it weighs over 100 lbs. I was still able to assemble it myself in less than two hours. I am a 50+ little old lady so that's saying something. Have lost inches and firmed abs with just the basic exercises on the DVD's included. Highly recommend this machine over the "cheaper" models. This one is truly a "Professional Grade" Machine for the home.
