About Polar The first EKG accurate wireless heart rate monitor was invented by Polar back in 1977 as a training tool for the Finnish National Cross Country Ski Team. The concept of "intensity training" by heart rate swept the athletic world in the eighties. By the 1990s, individuals were looking to heart rate monitors not only for performance training needs, but also for achieving everyday fitness goals. Today, the same concept of heart rate training is being used by world-class athletes as well as everyday people trying to lose weight. Polar is the leading brand among consumers, coaches, and personal trainers worldwide and the company is committed to not only producing the best products, but also being the leading educator on the benefits of heart rate based exercise. | | | Features: | |

Polar Sports Bra Works wellDec 06, 2007 The Polar Sports Bra works well with the heart monitor. I was not sure if I needed to use the elastic, but it did not work without it. The instructions were not very complete. You need to make sure the elastic band keeps the monitor snugly against your body. The bra itself is not going to hold the monitor snugly in place without the elastic.

Great accessoryNov 07, 2007 I got this polar heart bra because I found the strap that comes with the Polar Heart monitor difficult to keep in position, especially when I run. I can wash the strap with the bra and now I never forget my strap at home when I go to the gym. Really comfortable!

Good idea lousy fabricsOct 17, 2007 I bought this product for my wife because she could not use her Polar as the strap was too big for her. The braworked good but it cut her skin so she could not use it anymore. I think the idea is good but they should use another fabric.

A Waste of MoneyMay 23, 2007 I am so mad I bought this bra. I bought two so now I am out a good $76 that I could have spent on something better. This is the most uncomfortable sports bra ever. It cuts into my skin, it rides up (and yes I got the correct size) the holes for the heart monitor came frayed. I wore one while running to test
it out. How else are you going to know if it works for you? Of course since it has been worn I can not return it. The company was VERY unhelpful about all of this. Where are those long forgotten companies that stand behind all of the products they sell and thrive on customer satisfaction? I suggest you find a different watch and a different bra!

Polar heart braMay 12, 2007 I had high hopes for this product but was a bit disappointed. The bra itself is good quality, but the holes through which the HRM chest strap are looped are poorly sewn and all began to fray within a week of use. I also found that I could not actually loop the chest strap into the bra because my running movement caused the transmitter to shift and lose its contacts with my body. I spent several frustrating running days trying to overcome this fault and finally gave up and am now just wearing the transmitter under the bra. In retrospect I would rather have spent a bit less money on a normal sports bra.
