4Good dealMay 02, 2008
Very pleased. I use it whenever weather prevents me from walking outdoors. I am not a person who enjoys indoor exercise and have tried treadmill and eliptical machine but hated it and eventually stopped using them. This bike is quiet, can sit and watch TV or videos on my computer while I bike. I just put my laptop on a little table next to me. The foot straps are a good idea. If it folded up for storage it would be perfect, but it is not too difficult to push it to the side of the room.

4Perfect for BeginnersApr 08, 2008
I am a beginner when it comes to any exercise machine. I've looked at tons of different bikes, but this one was great for the money. It took a little time to put together, but the instructions were very easy to follow. It works great! The calorie counter and such are not accurate but the timer and miles are right on the nose. It is very quiet and easy to use while watching tv or reading a book. I have found this bike to be the perfect purchase for beginners for the price. If I could change anything about this bike it would be the digital output. It is a little small and very basic. If you are just looking for a cycle to ride instead of trying to keep track of calories, this would be perfect for you!

4Great dealMar 30, 2008
I ride my bike about 5 days a week for 30-45 minutes each time. It was a great deal for the low cost! Time goes quickly! It's so quiet you can watch tv or read while you ride. The pedals clicked at first but when I set the seat back one spot, it stopped. I would definitely recommend this bike. It's great!

5Whisper Quiet, very happyFeb 09, 2008
It wasn't very hard to assemble, is very quiet and very comfortable to ride for long periods of time. Everything works as advertised, no surprises here. The electronics are not as sophisticated as the bikes at the gym, but they work well enough. Excellent value for the price.

5If you want a basic, high quality recumbent bike, this is the one.Feb 08, 2008
The Phoenix recumbent bike is a basic bike for those of us who are not training for a triatholon :) The digital display shows elapsed time, speed, distance and calories. I use only the time feature and take pulse readings (on a handy gizmo bought on-line) to get a good workout. It is small enough to 'hide' behind the couch that separates the living area and the dining room. I am 5'6" and my husband is 6'4". The bike is relatively easy to adjust even for these extremes in height. I would recomment this bike for all but the serious athlete.
