It was a great decision to order this bikeAug 28, 2007
I bought this spin bike about 2 months ago and so far I have been extremely happy with it. It arrived a week sooner than the shipping information stated and the delivery driver called to tell me he had followed my instructions and left it in the backyard, which was no small feat given the weight of the box.
I was surprised to see that it came mostly assembled. My husband just had to put on the pedals and snap the seat and handlebars into place. So far the ride has been very smooth and it makes a minimal amount of noise. It seems to be well constructed. The warranty is also really good. There are two things to keep in mind when buying this bike.
1) The seat is REALLY hard. I had to buy one of those gel cushion covers and it has made the biking experience much more enjoyable.
2) If you are over 6'3' you may not be comfortable on this bike. My husband is 6'3' and at the last notches for where the seat and handle bars will adjust too.
All in all I have been very satisified with this bike. I purchased this after selling my Precor Elliptical trainer and I'm glad I did. This was a third the price and I get a better workout.
